This project is a gated residential complex comprising three buildings, situated on one of the most picturesque sites near the 'Palace' architectural and park complex in Balchik. The primary design challenge and guiding motive was to achieve a balance between the site’s topography and the unique characteristics of the environment, which opens up to a sweeping sea panorama.
The buildings are positioned to complement rather than compete with the landscape, seamlessly integrating into the terrain by following its natural contours. The overall concept emphasizes continuity between the scale of the composition and its unique natural setting.
Landscape design has been treated as an integral architectural element rather than a mere addition. The use of terraced levels, stone paving, and retaining walls creates transitional zones that soften the visual correspondence between the rigid geometric volumes of the buildings and the dynamic terrain.
Water features within the project enhance the sense of the horizon and balance the weight of the architectural composition. The reflective surfaces integrated into the common areas serve to visually expand the space and connect the architecture with the vastness of the sea.
The pool area, enveloped in greenery and coastal breezes, transforms into an ideal space for recreation.
This is more than just a complex; it is a new dimension of lifestyle, where every morning begins with a view of the horizon.
This project is an expression of our commitment to creating architecture that resonates with the specific topography of Balchik and maximizes the visual potential of the site, while ensuring sustainability and aesthetic harmony within the architectural ensemble.
The project can also be experienced through virtual reality (VR) headsets at the Monblan Design office.
We would like to thank all the specialists who participated in the design process, as well as our investors for their trust!
